Speaker: PD Dr. phil. Mathias Schütz, Head of the division of history of medicine

The lecture provides a concise overview of the history of science. Students will get to know different understandings of science, scientific theories and scientific practices over time, and how these relate to the development of medicine since antiquity. The goal is to facilitate an insight into the (philosophical, technical, and social) conditionality of science.

This lecture is part of the IRTG-BrainVasc Lecture Series and is therefore mandatory. Please keep the date free in your calendar.
